The next training sessions are Saturday, June 9, 8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. at St. James Church, Mill Creek. To register, please mail completed registration form and fee to the Bishop's Office. A link to the registration form can be found below or you can email Cynde Bimbi to obtain a form or ask questions. Registration deadline: May 31.

Who Should Attend?
When determining who needs to attend Safe Church Training, please invite all who would benefit. The material presented is inappropriate for participants under the age of 15. All participants must be in attendance for the entire training session to become certified by the Episcopal Diocese of Delaware.
Training mandatory for:
- All clergy
- Full or part-time church staff
- Volunteers who provide individual pastoral care
- Eucharistic Visitors
- Youth & Child Supervisors
Training recommended for:
- Sunday School teachers
- Lay leaders in supervisory or leadership roles
Re-certification required:
- Every five years

(PDF document) This 5-page document outlines our policy, especially in regard to sexual harassment and other forms of harassment. It recommends sexual misconduct awareness training for all employees and many volunteers.
